I have switched my winshit workstation’s protection (as in condom 
) from nod32 to f-secure (both cracked, ofc, would you expect a man from a third world country at the end of nato protected europe to pay for the software ?!)
someone suggested to me some time ago that nod, though it says it updates the virus database, it’s worth shit; yesterday somebody else was very amazed I am still using nod, so I said, wtf, let’s go with the flow, what do you suggest … well, he said, you only have two viable choices: kaspersky and f-secure; the first is ok, but you need a licence if you want to use it outside the 30-days-trial-period, while the latter is already cracked on my stick …
never refuse a gift, so now I have a new antivirus; while nod was a good choice regarding the resources it ate, f-secure seems ok, but I fucking hate those fucking options – web surfer protection, fuck protection, shit protection, dump protection … I wonder if there is somewhere an antivirus for “connaisseurs” with only live file scan and on-demand scan as its functions, no more shits like firewall, ids, etc, etc ?! – but again, I ain’t no fucking windows expert, no mcse, just a plain and simple user
Than Nod is the way. There is no such thing as best antivirus. You better say, that this was the best antivirus, that month.
Everybody who produces AV, tries to bundle everything together and add some shit at every new release. This is a marketing shit and Nod is on the same path.
In my point of view, Nod is far from the safest AV, but the safest AV, kills your system. These AV producers reached a level, that they expect you to buy a strong computer, just to run their god-damn AV. An AV supposed to be a tool, which keeps you safe, while you can use your computer for the stuff you need. No! The smart fuckers say that the computer must be safe and than you can use the rest of the resources that left. Well fuck them all.
Nod is a decent and fast AV which keeps you safe from 90% of the bad stuff. If your Windows and IE(even if you’re not using it) is up-to-date, than Nod offers you 100% safety.
If you want to stay legal and if you have at least license for Windows, here is an option which is better than AVG: http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/
